The Sermon on the Mount is the largest recorded collection of Jesus’ teaching, found in Matthew chapters 5–7. In this sermon, Jesus puts into words the kind of life He Himself lived while here on earth. He introduces His followers to the Kingdom of Heaven — not simply as a future hope, but as something that had already begun to break into the present world.
