We hold to what we believe is a biblical model of local church and church leadership. Namely that local churches are autonomous and eldership governed (Acts 20:28, 1 Peter 1:2) by men who qualify for this function according to the scriptures (1 Tim 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9) and are appointed by God to lead, love and serve His people (Acts 20:17-38, 1 Peter 5:1-4). In addition, deacons should be appointed whenever necessary to assist in this God given mandate (Phil 1:1, Acts 6, 1 Tim 3).
